Mr. Jack David J.D. Roberts, age 89, of Ozan, Arkansas, passed away, Sunday, May 5, 2013 at his home in Ozan. He was born on February 20, 1924, in Abilene, Texas, to James Pop and Nora Archer Roberts. He was a retired Engineer with McDonald Douglas with over 20 years service. Mr. Roberts served with the United States Navy during World War II and was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Elizabeth Betty Maxine Roberts and two sisters, June Exum and Judy Jones. Mr. Roberts is survived by two sons, Jon Salmon and wife Olga of Portland, Oregon, David Roberts and wife Barbara of Palm Bay, Florida, a daughter, Robin Gage and husband Steve of Denton, Texas, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Graveside service for Mr. Roberts will be 11:00 am, Thursday, May 9, at St. Paul Cemetery in Ozan, Arkansas, Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland officiating.
