MR. JACK THOMAS PEACHEY, 71, of Charleston, South Carolina (Formerly of Prescott, Ark.)passed away Sunday, November 25, 2007, in St. Francis Hospital, Charleston, South Carolina. He was born on January 13, 1936 in Magnolia, Arkansas to Albert and Karen Barham Peachey. He was retired from the U.S. Navy with 22 years of service. He also retired from Ralph H. Johnson Veterans Medical Center. He was a member of the Rutledge Memorial Baptist Church, Mariner Masonic Lodge, Loyalty Chapter of OES, former member of several bowling leagues in Charleston, and a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. HIS SURVIVORS INCLUDE: HIS WIFE: Jean Tuten Peachey, Charleston, S. Carolina. ONE SON: John Basil Peachey, and Cindy, Lexington, S. Carolina. ONE BROTHER: William N. Peachey, Potomac, Maryland. TWO GRANDCHILDREN: Alex Peachey, Lexington, S. Carolina. Megan Peachey, Lexington, S. Carolina. GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, Nov. 30, 2007, at DeAnn Cemetery, Prescott, Ark., with Mr. Paul Robison officiating. Burial will follow.
