Mr. Jack S. Vermillion, 76 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Medical Park Hospital in Hope, Arkansas. Mr. Vermillion was born January 23, 1935 in Butler, Missouri to Rolla and Letha D. Adams Vermillion. He was a truck driver for Hempstead County and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Harlan, James, Frank and Bobby Vermillion, sister, Mary Vermillion and step-daughter, Debbie Shewbirt. Survivors include his wife, Edith Vermillion of Hope, son, Spencer Vermillion and wife, Arinda of North Carolina, daughter, Suzanne Collins and husband, Stanley of Higginsville, Missouri, Step-sons; Richard Shelton and wife, Tonya of Stamps, Pete Shelton and wife, Cathy of Lewisville, step-daughters; Peggy Pruitt and husband, Tommy and Betty Fields all of Rogers, Arkansas, Edith DeeDee Bear and husband, Wayne of Bodcaw, brother, Donald Vermillion of Pine Bluff, sisters, Dorothy Martz of Hooks, TX, Doris Harper of Butler, Missouri and Ruth Hooks of Nashville, AR, 29 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends, 6:00 to 8:00pm, Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope, Arkansas. Graveside service for Mr. Vermillion will be 2:30pm, Friday, December 16, 2011 at Virginia Cemetery in Butler, Missouri.
