James Randolph Buie, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2011, in Arlington, Texas. Jim was born April 4, 1937, in Prescott, Ark. He was a retired carpenter who resided in Grand Prairie, Texas. James was preceded in death by his Father, William Randolph Buie; Mother, Della Harris Buie; and sisters, Mary Cox and Lit Litton. He will forever be loved and missed by all that knew him. Survivors include his loving Wife, Joyce; sons, Brett and Wade and his wife, Roxie; sisters, Joann Willis and Mrs. Gary Reed; grandchildren, Chase, Curtis, Rachel, Layla and Jackson; great-grandchild, Eban; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. Graveside service will be 12:00pm, Friday, January 7, 2011, at Nubbin Hill Cemetery, Prescott, Arkansas. Burial to follow. Local arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish The Funeral Home, Prescott, Arkansas.
