James Kendall "Ken" Burke, age 67, of Hope, Arkansas passed away April 29, 2026.

Born on September 30, 1958, to the late Henry and Lynn Burke, James lived a life deeply rooted in the land he loved. For his entire life, he dedicated himself to farming, embodying the hard work, patience, and quite strength that defined everything he did. He also cherished time spent hunting with his sons and friends; moments that meant as much to him as any harvest.

James is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley Burke; his sons, Cody Burke and wife Taylor, Jason Burke and wife Jennifer; and his grandchildren, Kohen Burke and Aubrey Burke. One brother ; Mark and wife Patty  Burke.

Visitation will be held 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Marlbrook Cemetery on Saturday, May 2, 2026, with Bro. Steven Thrasher officiating under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home.
