Mr. James M. Mattison, age 88 of Lewisville, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 in Wadley Medical Center in Texarkana, Texas.  Mr. Mattison was born in Menomonie, Wisconsin on November 25, 1929 to Arthur Manville Mattison and Hazel Margaret Jensen Mattison. Mr. Mattison is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Anita M. Mattison.

Mr. Mattison was a member of North Lewisville Baptist Church in Lewisville, AR, a retired maintenance man and a US Air Force veteran, serving in the Korean and Vietnam Wars and after 20 years of service he retired as a Master Sergeant.

Survivors include his wife Laverne B. Mattison of Lewisville, AR, a son Michael Mattison of Lewisville, AR and two grandchildren Mathew Mattison and Stephanie Lewis, other family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 3:00pm on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the North Lewisville Baptist Church in Lewisville, AR with Bro.
