Mr. James M. Osborn,78, Emmet, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2007 at his home. He was born in Hempstead Co. Ark. on July 19, 1929, to Clyde and Lydia Simms Osborn. He was a retired supervisor with Amoco Oil Refinery, Whiting, Indiana for 37 ½ years of service; constable of Nevada County for 10+ years; he had been in law enforcement for nearly fifty years and an auxiliary deputy for Nevada County for 15 years. He was a member of the Emmet United Methodist Church, Emmet, Ark. where he served as Chairman of Administrative Board, a Trustee and an Usher. He was preceded in death by his wife, June E. Osborn, who died April 2, 2002. His Survivors Include: Four Sons: James M. Jimmy Osborn, Jr., Whiting, Indiana; Reginald Lee Reggie Osborn, Hobart, Indiana; Donald Clyde Donnie Osborn, Michigan City, Indiana; Ted Randal Osborn, Westville, Indiana. Two Sisters: Frances O. Hazzard, Houston, Texas. Martha Ann Pyle, Austin, Texas. And Nine Grandchildren, Four Great-Grandchildren, One Niece And Four Nephews.
