Mr. James Ray Plunkett, 57, of Prescott, Arkansas passed away, Saturday June 9, 2012 in a Little Rock, Arkansas hospital. Mr. Plunkett was born July 14, 1954 in Franklin Parish, Louisiana to Clyde Plunkett and Emma Lee Bearden. He was a member of the East Whelen Springs Baptist Church in Whelen Springs, Arkansas and a farm laborer. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father Earl Peters. Mr. Plunketts survivors include: one son Chris Jones and wife Sunshine, of Prescott, Arkansas his brothers: Douglass Wayne Frith of Hope, Arkansas, Roy Peters, of Oakdale, Louisiana and Allen Earl Peters, of Beckley, West Virginia. His sisters: Cheryl Donita McCoy, of Cotton Valley, Louisiana and Marcia Peters, of Hope, Arkansas. One grandson: Dakota Jones, of Prescott, Arkansas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation 8:00am to 1:00pm Monday June 11, 2012 at Brazzel/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott.
