Mr. James "Mark" Russell, age 44, of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, formerly of Hope, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013, at Wadley Regional Medical Center at Hope. Mr. Russell was born April, 11, 1969, in Hope, Arkansas, to Charles and Carolyn Sanders Russell. Mark was a member of Garrett Memorial Baptist Church in Hope, and was in the Arkansas National Guard. He was a loving husband, family man who loved his grandchildren. He was a true handy man that loved to mechanic and wood work, that would help anybody that asked. Mark is preceded in death by a step-son, Daniel Stone, maternal Grandparents Cecil and Ada Sanders, and paternal grandparents, Berlin and Viola Russell, and a life long friend, Keith Odom. Mark was survived by his wife of 10 years Selina Womack Russell, of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, Parents, Charles and Carolyn Russell of Hope, Arkansas, step-son, Dusty Stone, of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, step-daughter, Courtney Stone of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, grandchildren, Layne, and Addie Cox, special nieces and nephews, Lakin, Jacob, Dalton, and Jack Russell, brothers, Phillip and wife Kelley Russell of Hope, and Willie Russell of Hope, and numerous aunts, uncles, friends, and relatives. In Lieu of Flowers donations may be made to Foster Cemetery in Spring Hill, Arkansas or Pleasant Home Cemetery in Murfreesboro, Arkansas. Visitation for Mark will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Friday, December 27, 2013, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 11:00am, Saturday, December 28, 2013, at Foster Cemetery, in Spring Hill, Arkansas, with Bro. Clif Johnson and Bro. Steve Kelley officiating.
