Mr. James Thompson, age 86 of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016. Mr. Thompson was born July 15, 1929 in Winnsboro, Texas, to Harvey and Buna Mae Albe Thompson. He was a Christian man who was kind-hearted and willing to help everybody. Mr. Thompson is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Buna Albe Thompson, his wife, Cecial Thompson, two brothers; Harvey Thompson Jr. and William Thompson, and one sister, Dorothy Keefer.

Survivors include: two brothers; R.A. Thompson of Mesquite, Texas, Gene Thompson and his wife, Peggy, of Hope, Arkansas, one sister, Wanda Keeton and her husband, Jessie, of Hope, Arkansas, sister-in-law, Judy Thompson, and other friends and family.

Visitation is 6:00-8:00pm Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home.
