Mr. James O. White, 77 of Emmet, Arkansas passed away, Sunday, August 21, 2011 at his home in Emmet. Mr. White was born, Wednesday, August 15, 1934 in Emmet, Arkansas to Marshall Hence and Pinna Mabel Oaks White. He was diesel and car mechanic and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Charlotte Todd White, a son; James Michael White, two brothers, Frank H. White and W. C. White. Survivors include; son, Roger White and Deborah of Cabot, AR, two daughters; Frankie Jo Powers and John of Bossier City, LA, Linda Ruth Casto and J.W. of Emmet, three sisters; Ruth Patterson of Emmet, Jo Gregory of Aledo, TX and Ruby Alexander of Sacramento, CA, 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. The White Family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00pm, Tuesday, August 23 at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home, Hope. Funeral service, 2:00pm, Wednesday, August 24 at New Liberty Baptist Church, Emmet, with Bro. James Cox officiating. Burial to follow in Snell Cemetery, Emmet.
