Mrs. Janice Yvonne Faulkner, age 75, of Hope, Arkansas, passed away, Thursday, August 15, 2013, at her home in Hope. She was born on May 28, 1938, in Patmos, Arkansas, to M. D. and Pauline Kennedy Garrett. She was a retired sales clerk for Family Dollar Store in Hope and was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Hope. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Faulkner is survived by a son, Bro. Mark Faulkner and wife Stacy of Hope, a daughter, Cindy Greene and husband John of Spring Hill, Arkansas, two brothers, Jimmy Garrett of McCaskill, Arkansas and Kenneth Garrett of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, a sister Frances Fairchild of Hope, three grandchildren, Jordan Faulkner, Shane Connell and T. J. Connell, two step-grandchildren, Matthew Greene and Zach Greene, numerous other family members and a host of friends. Visitation will be noon to 2:00 pm, on Sunday, August 18, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope. Funeral service for Mrs. Faulkner will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, August 18, at the Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel, Bro. Kenneth Grant officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery in Patmos.
