Mrs. Janie L. Gathright, age 85 of Hope, Arkansas passed away Wednesday January 3, 2018 in Texarkana, TX. Mrs. Gathright was born in McNab, AR on May 6, 1932 to Edward Stone and Gletta Jane Wolf Stone. Mrs. Gathright was a devoted caregiver, licensed beautician, a homemaker, a member of the Hope Church of Christ where she was very faithful to her Lord and Savior. She was very committed to taking care of her family that she loved very deeply and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Jack and Pete Stone and one special Uncle, Howard Wolf and wife Sadie.

Mrs. Gathright is survived by her husband, Jack Gathright of Hope, AR, one daughter, Janine Allen and her husband, Richard, of Oakhaven, AR, one son, Gary Gathright and his wife, Nancy, of Texarkana, TX, a brother Guy Stone and his wife, Cordelia, of Texarkana, AR, and grandchildren: Madalyn Jane Gathright, Cavan Bilyeu and Elicia Bilyeu, all of Texarkana and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00pm on Friday, January 5, 2018 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 South Main St. Hope, AR.

Funeral service is 2:00pm on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Hope Church of Christ, Hope, AR with Mr. Larry Culbreath and Mr. Stephen Edelhuber officiating.
