MR. JASPER LORY MALONE, 68, of Hope, Arkansas (Formerly of Pineville, Louisiana), passed away Monday, April 6, 2009, at Medical Park Hospital , Hope, Arkansas. He was born in Alexandria, Louisiana on November 8, 1940 to Jasper Lory, Sr. and Ruth Cardwell Malone. He was a carpenter. He had a Bachelors degree in both education and fire science. He was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents; by his first wife, Belle Zachry Malone and by his sister, Kay Murrell. HIS SURVIVORS INCLUDE: His Wife: Phyllis Wilson Malone, Washington, Ark. Three Sons: Christopher Malone, Fulton, Ark. Keith Malone and Donnita, Pineville, LA. Jason Malone and Lorrie, Cardova, TN. Two Brothers: Michael Malone, Pineville, LA. Clinton Buddy Malone, Pineville, LA. Nine Grandchildren: Jessica, Cody, Trenten, Kasey, Kaitlyn, Kailey, Kyle, Garrett, and Rileigh Malone. Three Great-Grandchildren: Alexis, Kaden and Christopher Malone. Seven Step-Children: Brenda Burgess, Belinda Minor, Michelle McCorkle, Wendi Brown, Virgle Powell, Melissa Oller and Casey Powell. Sixteen Step-Grandchildren: William Green; Victoria, Brittney, Westen Burgess; C.J. Burris; Haley and Aaron Minor; Dustin and Hannah McCorkle; Austin, Hayden and Hunter Brown; Riley, Kaden and Jason Powell; Cameron Adams; and several nieces and nephews and friends. FUNERAL SERVICE will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 8, 2009, Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel, Hope, Arkansas, with Rev. Michael Malone and Rev. Will Green officiating.
