MRS. JEAN ROBERTSON BYERS, 91, of DeSoto, Texas, formerly of Hope, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2010, at Charlton Methodist Hospital, in Dallas, Texas. She was born March 31, 1918, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to Eugene Curtis Robertson and Grace Elizabeth Burrows Robertson. She was a homemaker and a pastors wife. She loved to play the piano, reading her Bible and reading books. She was a member of Hampton Road Baptist Church in DeSoto, Texas and pianist for her Bible Class. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Rev. R. E. "Ernest" Byers, and one brother, Bill Robertson. HER SURVIVORS INCLUDE: ONE SON: Rev. Richard D. Parker and Sally, DeSoto, Texas. ONE SISTER: Carolyn Shideler, Stillwater, Oklahoma. THREE GRANDCHILDREN: Richard J. Parker, Dallas,Texas, Rebekah Mathers, Italy, Texas, Rana Ramirez, Italy, Texas. SEVEN GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN and a number of other relatives and friends. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 1:00 p.m, Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel, Hope, Arkansas, with Rev.
