Mrs. Jean Cockman, age 80, of Hope, Arkansas, passed away, Friday, December 20, at Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana. She was born on June 24, 1933, in Oppelo, Arkansas, to Oscar and Corrine Moore Brown. Mrs. Cockman was a retired Administrative Assistant with Arkla Gas and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Prescott, Arkansas, for 49 years. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Cockman is survived by her husband of 62 years, Bob Cockman of Hope, a son, Bobby Cockman of St. Louis, Missouri, two daughters, Donna Rhodes of Hope, and Paula Billups and husband Charles of Rhome, Texas, three grandchildren, Tal Rhodes, Chase Billups, and Chance Billups, two great-grandchildren, Payton and Brady Rhodes, numerous other family members, and a host of friends. Visitation will be 12:30 to 2:00 pm, Sunday, December 22, at the First United Methodist Church in Prescott. University Avenue, Little Rock, Arkansas 72207. Funeral service for Mrs. Cockman will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, December 22, at the First United Methodist Church in Prescott with Rev. Jerry G.
