Mrs. Gloria Jean Turnage, age 64, of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Wadley Regional Medical Center at Hope. She was born September 18, 1948, in Roanoke, Virginia, to Raymond and Nellie Hogan. Mrs. Turnage was a homemaker and a member of Anderson Baptist Church in Spring Hill, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Turnage, her parents, a son Cecil ODell Jernell, two brothers and one sister. Mrs. Turnage is survived by a son, Raymond Burks of Roanoke, Virginia, five daughters, Tabatha Townsend and husband David of Spring Hill, Bobbie Tillar and husband Karl of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Christy Landrum of New Caney, Texas, Crystal Smith of Spring Hill, and Melissa Hammond of Houston, Texas, a brother, Charles Hogan of Conroe, Texas, a sister, Betty Brown of Roanoke, Virginia, fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
