Mrs. Jennie Sanders Duckett, 74, of Hope, Arkansas. She passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at her home. She was born in Spring Hill, Arkansas on November 22,1934, to Cecil A. Sanders and Ada Byrom Sanders. She was a retired co-owner/operator of Hempstead County Abstract Company for 36 years and also co-owner of Duckett Farms of Hope, Ark. She was a member of Garrett Memorial Baptist Church, Hope, Ark. and Secretary for 25 years of the Iris Warren Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Hempstead County Cattlemans Assoc., American Shorthorn Lassie Assoc., American Shorthorn Assoc., and Arkansas Shorthorn Assoc. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her daughter, Melissa Sue Duckett, who died June 16, 1960 and by three sisters, Cecile Lane, Vicki Sanders and Kathi Bass. Her Survivors Include: Her Loving Husband: (of 49 years) Jesse M. Duckett, Hope, Ark. Four Brothers: W.T. Sanders, Spring Hill, Ark. Bill Sanders and Brenda, Spring Hill, Ark. Gary Sanders, Spring Hill, Ark. Ricky Sanders, Spring Hill, Ark. Four Sisters: Frances Adams and Bud, Hope, Ark. Carolyn Russell and Charles, Shover Springs, Ark. Brenda Watson, Emmet, Ark. Joyce Black and Jimmy, Guernsey, Ark. Special friends: Don Brown Family, Malvern, Ark. Special Caregivers: Betty Miller and Vickie Wilson of Hope, Ark. and several nieces and nephews and friends. Funeral Service 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 19, 2009, Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel, Hope, Arkansas, with Rev. Jim Sayers, Rev. Larry Silvey and Rev. Cliff Johnson officiating.
