Jeri "Marie" Cleaver Smith, of Nashville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully August 21, 2025 in Texarkana, Texas.

She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to Gilbert William and Alice Marie Cleaver Lowdermilk.

Marie spent many years in San Jose, Ca.  and San Antonio, Tx before returning to Arkansas. She found great happiness working at Nevada County Hospital from 1976 till the day it closed. She loved the outdoors and living in New Mexico with Jennifer and Larry, and loved all western history.

Marie was preceded in death by her mother and father Alice Marie Cleaver Lowdermilk and Gilbert William Cleaver, and step father Johnny Lowdermilk, sisters, Jackie Brown, and Nicki Jo Light, brother in laws, Don Greene, and David Brown.

She is survived by her son, Jeff Smith of AZ, daughter Jennifer Grayson and husband Larry of Nashville , Arkansas, sister Wrenetta Greene, and step sister Virginia Ann Lowdermilk.  Grandchildren Griffin Grayson, Tyler Grayson of Nashvlle , Ar. KaiLani Glass of OK., one, great grand daughter Kira Anderson of OK. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will have private service.

Services are under the direction of the Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home of Hope.
