Mr. Jerry Bush, 82 of Hope departed this life on January 5, 2022, surrounded by family and lots of love. Mr. Bush was born on August 21, 1939 to Charles H and Tabetha E Bush of Hope. Jerry was retired from Hempstead County Sheriff's Department, Hempstead County Reserve Deputies, and Champion Parts. He loved his work, talking to everyone he came into contact with and was a very kind and loving man. He was the BEST dad and Papaw anyone could ask for. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Janice (Cobb) Bush, son Greg Bush, parents Charles and Tabitha Bush, brothers, Lester, Roland, Dennon, Eugene, Kenneth and Jimmy Bush, sisters, Katherine Nichols, Iris Porterfield, Louise Poole, Peggy Hampton, and Betty Walden.

Jerry is survived by a daughter Shelly McKinnon, husband Adam, son Todd Bush and special friend Mandy Townsend. Grandchildren, Kayla Sinyard, husband Josh, Cameron Pinson, wife Shelbi, Amy Murphy, husband Martin, Ryan Bush, Cody Bush, wife Ali, Kristen Bush, Kirby Bush, Mackenzie and Ella Lafferty, seven great-grandchildren Marleigh Sinyard, Eli Sinyard, Owen Sinyard, Tucker Pinson Graham Bush, Reese Bush, Bastian Shippey and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

No family visitation will be held.

Funeral service will be held Sunday January 9, 2022, at 2:00pm at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope, Arkansas with Bro. Jerry Crane officiating. Burial to follow at evening Shade Cemetery Hwy 29 South Hope, Arkansas. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope, Eddie Brazzel Direction.
