Mr. Jerry Wayne Waller, 62, of Windom, Texas, (Formerly of Hope, Arkansas,) passed away Friday, August 7, 2009 in Red River Regional Hospital, Bonham, Texas. He was born in Hope, Arkansas, on November 6, 1946, to Benjamin and Maggie Mae Higgs Waller. He had an associates degree in electronics and was an electronics technician with Texas Instruments in Sherman, Texas. He was a Vietnam Veteran with the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Elizabeth Ann Joy Waller, who died in August, 2008; and one brother, Sidney Waller. Survivors Include: One Son: Jeff Waller and Anna Lehmans Waller, Hopkins, South Carolina; One Granddaughter: Lily Mason Waller, Hopkins, South Carolina. Two Brothers: Ben Gee Waller and Jenny, Hope, Ark. and William "Willie" Waller and Linda, Hope, Ark. Four Brother-in-Laws: Johnny Joy and Melba, Hope, Ark., David Joy and Karen, Hope, Ark., James Joy and Robbie, Hempstead, Texas, and Bob Joy and Paula, Marlow, Oklahoma. Graveside Services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2009, at Macedonia Cemetery, Patmos Road, Hope, Arkansas, with Rev. Glen Tropp and Rev. Jacob Waller officiating. Burial to follow.
