Mr. Jerry Wells, age 86 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Saturday, July 30, 2011 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mr. Wells was born, Wednesday, July 8, 1925 in Indianapolis, Indiana to George and Bessie Olsch Wells. Mr. Wells was retired Mechanical Engineer from Aero Space & Power and was a US Army Veteran of World War II. Mr. Wells was very active in Boy Scouts as a Leader. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, of 56 years of marriage, Barbara Joyce Wells. He is survived by; two sons; George Thomas Wells and Nancy of Midland, Michigan and Dan Wells and Eva of Houston, Texas, two daughters; Jan Thevenet and Scott of Plano, Texas and Susan Holt and Tim of Spring Hill, Arkansas, his brother; Jack Wells of Midland, Texas, seven grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild and his significant special friend, Geneva Waldrop of Hope. The Wells Family will receive friends, 6:00 to 8:00pm, Friday, August 5, 2011 at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope. A graveside service will be 10:00am, Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope. Bro. Mark Fischer will officiate. Burial to follow by Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope.
