Mr. Jessie L. Hakes, age 76 of Texarkana, Texas passed away Saturday October 3, 2020, in Texarkana. Jessie was born in Texarkana, Texas, on March 25, 1944, to Jessie Henry and Myrtle Cooper Hakes. He was of Christian Faith. He is preceded in death by his parents, three wives Patricia Sue, Jodie, Johdie, daughter De Anna, and brother, Grady Rufus Hakes.

Survivors include: son Jessie Hakes Jr. three daughters, Christine, Jennifer, Peggy, brother, Henry Hakes, one special friend Neva Lynn Steel, grandchild, Serenity-Faith Vargas, a host of relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday October 6, 2020 in Rosehill Cemetery. Burial will follow with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. prior till service time.
