Mr. Jimmie D. Phillips, 71, of Baxter Springs, Kansas, (Formerly of McCaskill, Arkansas) passed away May 7, 2009 in Kansas. He was born on October 7, 1937, in McCaskill, Arkansas, to the late Floyd and Nora Phillips. Survivors Include: One Sister: Lois Nelson, Pontiac, Michigan. Two Brothers: Jackie Phillips, Springfield, Oregon, and Victor Phillips, McCaskill, Arkansas; and a number of nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held Friday, May 15, 2009, in Baxter Springs, Kansas. Funeral Services will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 17, 2009, at Friendship United Methodist Church, McCaskill, Arkansas. Local arrangements are by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home, Hope, Arkansas.
