Mr. Jimmy "Jim" Johnson, age 59, of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at his home. He was born May 19, 1953, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to Lester Charles and Helen Cox Johnson. Mr. Johnson was employed by Southern Bakery and was a Christian. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Johnson was survived by two sons, Jimmy Otto of Oklahoma and Jeremiah Johnson of New Mexico, two daughters, Amanda Spoo and husband Billy of Kirby, Arkansas and Candace Sarantos of Texarkana, Texas, three brothers, Lonnie, Lynn and Roger Dale Johnson all of Hope, two sisters, Jo Ann Dease of Florida and Carla Stone of Hope, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 21, 2013 at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at the Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel with Bro. Jeff Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope.
