Mr. Jimmy Don Rosenbaum, 72, of Cross Roads, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at his home. Mr. Rosenbaum was born September 18, 1939 in Hempstead County, Arkansas to Orville Ray and Mabel Mosier Rosenbaum. He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church and he was a retired farmer and a poultry and cattle rancher. He served on the board of directors of Hempstead County Farm Bureau Insurance for over 25 years and was a member of the Hempstead County Cattlemans Association. He was proceeded in death by his parents; brothers, Bobby Ray and Jerry Lynn Rosenbaum; and nephew, Steve Rosenbaum. Mr. Rosenbaum is survived by his wife of 37 years, Linda Gilbert Rosenbaum; sons, Dwain and wife, Shawn Rosenbaum of Hope, Arkansas, and Ronald Self of Ozan, Arkansas; daughters, Paula Rosenbaum and Kim Self Couch and husband Ken, all of Cross Roads, Arkansas; nephew, Dennis Rosenbaum of Washington, Arkansas; niece, Debbie Hearmsberger of Arkadelphia, Arkansas; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral service for Mr. Rosenbaum will be 2:00pm Friday, March 2, 2012 at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home Hope, Arkansas. Burial to follow in Westmoreland Cemetery at Cross Roads, Arkansas. Bro. Neal Ridling will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00pm Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope, Arkansas.
