Joan Kennedy, age 92, of Hope, Arkansas passed away on February 3, 2026, at her home surrounded by family.

Mrs. Kennedy was born on January 10, 1934, in Shreveport, Louisiana to her parents, Jack and Ruth Bonnette Timon. She graduated from Texas A&I in Kingsville, Texas with a BS in Elementary Education. After many years she retired as a teacher.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Teddy Joe Kennedy.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Kathy Hodges; son, Steve Kennedy; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters; and one brother.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Mt. Moriah Cemetery with Bro. Neal Ridling officiating under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home.
