Mr. Joe Mitchell England, 71, of the Guernsey Community-Hope, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at a hospital in Texarkana, Texas. Mr. England was born on November 22, 1940 in Shover Springs, Arkansas to Joe W. and Mary Merle (Mitchell) England. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Hope, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters Mary Ann Smith and Edna Earl Laumann; brother Cecil England; and granddaughter Rebecca Joy England. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Wilma Anderson England; two sons, Jimmy Glenn and wife, Michelle of Moore, Oklahoma and Larry Joe and wife, Daphne of Centerton, Arkansas; two step-sons; Mike Arnold of Hot Springs and Jonathan Arnold of Hope; Step-daughter; Nancy Lee of Sedro Wooley, Washington; three brothers Travis, Jimmy and Bryan England of Hope, Arkansas; three sisters; Laura Sue England of Hope, AR, Ida Nell Thomas of Greenwood, AR and Judy Ezell of Waldo, AR; and five grandchildren Cody, Jeana and Trevor England of Moore, OK, and Morgan and Logan England of Centerton, Arkansas; step-grandchildren Jason and Jeffery Arnold of California, Jacob Arnold of Hope, Daniel and Everett Sturm of Washington State and step-grand-daughter; Angela Sturm of Washington State. Visitation will be Wednesday February 1, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00p.m. at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope, Arkansas. Funeral service for Mr. England will be on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home Chapel in Hope, Arkansas with Bro. Neal Ridling and Bro. Wayne Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Shover Springs Cemetery.
