John Alvin Anderson, age 91 of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022, at his home. He was born January 2, 1931 to Willie and Lee Buster Anderson, in Guernsey, Arkansas. He was a United States Army veteran during the Korean War. John is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Willie, Elmer, James Merlin and Jess Elvin Anderson; wife, Janice Anderson, daughter, Cynthia Sutton and grandchildren Amanda Sutton and JR Sutton.

He is survived by his children, John Anderson, Jr and wife Nancy, Kelly Bailey and husband Stan, Jennifer Anderson Figueroa and husband Juan; 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; best friends, Lou Tims and Dennis and Jackie Polk and a host of family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Jude's or Arkansas Children's Hospital.

Visitation will be held 12:00pm to 1:30pm Monday, April 11, 2022 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest.

Graveside service will follow at 2:00pm at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Bro. Charles Jones officiating.
