Mr. John David Bolton, age 54 of Prescott, Arkansas passed away Friday, May 22, 2015. He was born on January 27, 1961 to Bill and Jean Bolton. Mr. Bolton was a member of the Church of Christ since childhood. He retired from the Arkansas Highway Department. He collected baseball cards and loyally cheered on the Arkansas Razorbacks and Saint Louis Cardinals. He was a good friend and was kind to animals, children, and anyone who needed help. He was greatly loved. Mr. Bolton was preceded in death by his father. He will be missed by his mother, Jean Jones and her husband, Bill, his sisters; Anne Coley and Billye Burke, and his niece, Whitney Gaspard and her husband, Dustin. His extended family includes Suzanne Goodwin, Amanda Clifton, Zack Clifton, Michelle Goodwin, and Robbie Goodwin. Services will be private. For those wishing to make memorials in his name, the family suggests his favorite charity: Arkansas Children's Hospital, or a local animal shelter or animal rescue group.
