John Whitfield Davis, Age 91, formerly of Bryant, Arkansas passed away April 18, 2025 in Texarkana, Texas.

John was born November 4, 1933, to Sidney Parker and Forrest Elizabeth Carrington Davis. John was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bryant. John was a devoted husband and uncle. John was a life long fan of football and baseball. In particular he loved the Arkansas Razorbacks and the St. Louis Cardinals. John and Pat loved to travel and visit ball parks and stadiums. John loved the Golden Era movies, especially the westerns. John was a supporter of our nation's military men and women. He was a charter member of the National WWll Museum in New Orleans. John retired in 1992 as department supervisor for machine parts/inventory from Orbit Valve Company in Little Rock.

John was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Patricia (Pat) and his sister, Anna Davis Birdsong.

John is survived by his brothers, Sid Davis of Fayetteville, AR, Jim Davis of Fayetteville, AR, and Jean Davis of Lowell, AR along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Tuesday April 22, 2025, at BRAZZEL/Cornish 1196 Highway 371 West Prescott, Arkansas 71857

Graveside service will be 2:00pm on Tuesday April 22, 2025, at Deann Cemetery with Jason Brown officiating. Burial will follow.
