Mr. John T. Gourley, Sr., age 64, of Prescott, Arkansas, passed away Monday, July 7, 2014, at St. Michaels Hospital in Texarkana, Texas. He was born December 17, 1949, in Laneburg, Arkansas to Eddie Velvin and Frances Mae Hastings Gourley. He liked to hunt and fish, and was a Baptist. Mr. Gourley was preceded in death by his parents, brother, and three sisters. Mr. Gourley is survived by his son, John Gourley, Jr. and wife Carrie of Prescott, Arkansas grandchildren, Mallory Atkinson, of Magnolia, Arkansas and Kaitlin Gourley of Prescott, Arkansas. Graveside services for Mr. Gourley will be 10:00am, Friday, July 11, 2014, at Laneburg Cemetery with Bro. James Cox officiating.
