Mr. John Louis "Dutch" Hoover, age 83 of Bodcaw, Arkansas passed away, Friday September 7, 2018 at Hospice of Texarkana. Mr. Hoover was born January 3, 1935 in Bodcaw to James Eli "Bud" and Lular Bearden Hoover. He was a member of Bodcaw Baptist Church and worked as a farm laborer until retirement. He loved his church, friends, and family. He enjoyed listening to music and playing a game of checkers. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers James Clyde, Lonnie, and James "Junior" Hoover, and one sister Juanita Mayo.

His survivors include; a brother, Bill Hoover of Prescott, AR, a sister, Willie Faye Clements husband Billy of Bodcaw, and many nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Bodcaw Baptist Church in care of Larry Barnes, 2426 Hwy 32 Rosston, AR. 71858.

Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 pm Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Bodcaw Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be held following visitation at 2:00 pm with Bro. Ed Phillips and Bro Jerry Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Bodcaw.
