Mr. John Neathery, age 59 of Whelen Springs, Arkansas passed away, on December 13, 2016 at his home.  John was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas on May 2, 1957 to Felix Stroud and June Margaret Worthington Neathery.  John was the Parts Manager for Hope Tractor Company in Hope, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Gurdon. John loved his cats, "Powder" and "Shadow", was an avid hunter, coin collector and a gun enthusiast and collector.  John is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include; his sister, Rosemary Taylor of Milton, Florida, a niece, Melissa Bontrager, husband, Tracy of Lakeland, Florida, two great nieces; Ashlee and Audree, a great-nephew, Tucker, two very special relatives; Adrian "Si" Williams and wife, Nedra of Whelen Springs, Arkansas and numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.
