Mr. John J. Nichols, age 77 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Friday, December 1, 2017 in Texarkana, Texas. John was born in Blytheville, Arkansas on August 29, 1940 to John Jefferson Nichols and Mary Louise Nunnly Nichols.  John was a retired mechanic and a Christian. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Destyn Washington.

Survivors include his two daughters, Johna Washington of Paragould, AR and Terry Jones of Garden Grove, CA, three brothers, Clyde Nichols of Harrison, James Nichols of St. Louis, Missouri and Tommy Nichols of Hope, two sisters Wanda Ricketts of Monette and Virginia Harris of Emmet and numerous grandchildren, other family members and friends.

There will be no formal visitation for Mr. Nichols.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Nichols will be 2:00pm on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry G.
