Mr. John Homer Schooley Jr. age 76 of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Monday, February 7, 2022, at his home. John was born April 21, 1945 in Prescott, Arkansas, to John Homer Sr. and Lillie Johnson Schooley. He was a staff sergeant in the United States Air Force serving during the Vietnam War. John was a true friend to all that knew him and a huge Arkansas Razorback fan, member of Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church, and a production worker for Klipsch Inc. He also held a true passion for gardening. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Pat Schooley, and sister, Tina Faye Skinner.

Survivors include: wife Geraldine Schooley of Hope, son John Michael Schooley and wife Hilary of Yantis, Texas, son John Kelly Schooley of North Little Rock, Arkansas, three grandchildren, Rachel Porter, Blaine Schooley, Grayson Schooley.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00pm on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest 1001 South Main St. Hope, Arkansas 71801.

Funeral service will be 10:00am Friday, February 11, 2022, at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest with Bro. Donald Thompson and Bro. Ed Woods officiating.
