Mr. John Shotts, 81, of Hope, Arkansas (formerly of McCaskill, Arkansas), passed away Saturday, September 4, 2010, at Medical Park Hospital, Hope, Arkansas. He was born August 25, 1929, in Martinsville, Illinois to Jesse Shotts and Minnie Leanna Buckle Shotts. Mr. Shotts was a retired truck driver for Meyers Bakery, now Southern Bakery of Hope, Arkansas and a Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and one sister. HIS SURVIVORS INCLUDE: One Daughter: Vickie Miles and Bill, Hope, Arkansas. One Sister: Edith Napier, Illinois. Two Grandsons: Billy Lafferty and Cindy, Hope, Arkansas, Doug Lafferty and Mandy, Hope, Arkansas. Four Great-Grandchildren: Elizabeth Lafferty, Emma Kate Lafferty, MacKenzie Lafferty, and Ella Grace Lafferty, and other relatives and friends. MEMORIAL SERVICES will be 10:00 A.M.
