Mr. John Laughton Taylor, age 72 of Hope passed away, Friday, February 3, 2017 at his home. Mr. Taylor was born in Sheridan, Arkansas on July 9, 1944 to Laughton and Marcille Baker Taylor.  He was a US Air Force Veteran, a Baptist and a cattle and hog farmer. He is preceded in death by his parents, numerous brothers and sisters and one great-grandson; Hunter Stephens.

Survivors include; two sons; John Taylor, wife, Leslie of Blevins, Cint Baker, wife Tracye of Eldorado, a daughter; Ronda O'Connor, husband, Greg of Boerne, TX, two sisters; Martha McCool and Jonnie Taylor both of Sheridan, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, other family member and friends.
