Johnny Gutierrez age 70 of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Friday August 18, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family. Johnny was born on January 25, 1953, in Houston, Texas, to Pete and Cruz Perez -Gutierrez. He owned and operated Gutierrez Home Improvements, was a Baptist, enjoyed hunting, fishing, cattle farming, tending a garden and being with family and friends but his true passion was pleasing the customers he worked for. He is preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years Karen Gutierrez of Hope, son, Jason Gutierrez and wife Jessica of York, Pennsylvania, daughter, Jeana Gutierrez of Winslow, Arkansas, mother, Cruz Perez of McRae, Arkansas, brother James Phillips and wife  Zenine of Beebe, Arkansas, grandson, Michael Gutierrez and a host of family and close friends.

Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00pm on Monday August 21, 2023, at BRAZZEL/OAKCREST 1001 South Main Hope, Arkansas 71801

The funeral service will be at 2:00pm on Monday August 21, 2023, at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest with Bro. Kenneth Bobo officiating. A burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
