Mr. Johnny Owen Purtle, 61, of Perrytown, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2009, at Wadley Regional Medical Center, Texarkana, Texas. He was born in Nevada County, Ark. on Dec. 24, 1947, to Harlon and Minnie Allene Tye Purtle. He was a truck driver with Southern Bakeries of Hope and the former Meyers Bakery of Hope with 30 years of service. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church of Hope and member of the Auditorium Sunday School Class. He was preceded in death by his parents. HIS SURVIVORS INCLUDE: His Wife: (of 40 years) Judy Martin Purtle, Perrytown, Ark. One Son: Rodney ONeal Purtle and Kimberly, Conway, Ark. Two Grandchildren: Allison Faith Purtle and Ty ONeal Purtle, both of Conway, Ark. Two Brothers: James Purtle and Delores, Hope, Ark. Thomas Purtle and Dawna, Emmet, Ark. Four Sisters: Lura Mitchell and Bud, Hope, Ark. Lucille Beasley, Hope, Ark. Diann Henson, Indio, Calif. Debbie Rosenbaum, Emmet, Ark. And several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
