Mrs. Joyce Booker, 85 of Prescott, Arkansas passed away, Saturday, January 14, 2012 in a local hospital. Mrs. Booker was born May 29, 1926 in Sutton, Arkansas to Jeff Davis and Corrie Woodul Hamilton. She is a member of Harmony United Methodist Church in Sutton, Arkansas and a home maker. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Murrell O. Booker, Jr., two daughters; LaRue Weeks and Bonnie Breeding and sister, Eloise Hale. Mrs. Booker is survived by her son, Don Booker of Conway, two daughters, Amber Hughes of Prescott and Tamera Prince of Emmet, sister, Ann Collier of Carlsbad, New Mexico, 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00pm, Monday, January 16, 2012 at Brazzel/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott. Funeral service for Mrs. Booker will be 2:00pm, Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Harmony United Methodist Church in Sutton, Arkansas. Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland to officiate.
