Joyce Hampton Collums passed from this world April 13, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Eugene and her parents, L J and Audrey Hampton.  Mrs. Collums is survived by her three children, daughter, Pam Hare (Randy) of Hope, Terri Boatwright (Russ) of Tennessee and son Jeff Collums (Jane) also of Hope. Her greatest joy was her six grandchildren, Tim, Colter, Emily, Andrea, Jake and Mckenzie and 8 great-grandchildren, Georgie, Sutton, Kaden, Callie, Towns, Dawson, Easton, and Ivy Blake.  She also leaves two brothers, Joe Hampton and Donald Hampton and one sister Peggy Nivens.

Joyce was a loving mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed homemaking, sewing and gardening.  She and Eugene were known locally for their cooking and entertaining skills.  Everyone who entered her home, felt welcomed and comfortable.

Joyce loved the Lord Jesus Christ and spent many hours reading her Bible. We rejoice in knowing that our mother is now in her heavenly home.

Visitation will be Sunday April 16, 2023 2:00PM-4:00PM at Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home . Services will be held Monday April 17, 2023 at 2:00PM in the Brazzel-Oakcrest Chapel with Bro. Neal Ridling and Bro John Nation officiating. Burial will follow in The Memory Gardens Cemetery. Services are under the Direction of The Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home of Hope Eddie Brazzel Director.
