Mrs. Joyce Jones Rogers Girod, age 74 of Texarkana, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday April 2, 2024, at her home. Joyce was born August 1, 1949, to her parents, Lloyd Jones, and Frances McKamie Jones.

Joyce worked as a librarian at Beryl Henry and administrative clerk at Texas High School.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Jones and Frances McKamie Jones, late husband Jack Girod, brother, Jerry Jones.

Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Stacy Rogers Rosenbaum (Dwain) of Shover Springs, Arkansas, and Ginger Rogers of Texarkana, Arkansas, sister Judy Chapman of Texarkana, Arkansas, sister in law Jean Jones of Texarkana, AR, grandchildren, Cody Hobson (Summer), Chance Allen, Great Granddaughter Lillian Hobson, two cats Elvis and Priscilla; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Thursday April 4, 2024 at 3:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at the Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel Thursday April 4, 2024 at 4:00 pm.
