Mrs. Juanita Pearl Ransom Rice, 85, of Hope, Arkansas passed away Sunday, November 28, 2010, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope, Arkansas. Mrs. Rice was born in Newhope, Arkansas, March 25, 1925, to Roy H. and Pearl Reid Ransom. She was a former registered nurse and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hope, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ben F. Rice, one brother, Orville Ransom, and one sister, Jewell Lee. HER SURVIVORS INCLUDE: Two sons: David Rice, Hope, Arkansas. Rodney Rice, Texas. One daughter: Misty Rice, Austin, Texas. And several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at First United Methodist Church, Hope, Arkansas, with Rev. Steve Johnson officiating.
