Judy Morene Alexander, age 72, of Hope, Arkansas passed away on March 14, 2026, in Texarkana, Texas. Mrs. Alexander was born on March 21, 1953, in Prairie Grove, Arkansas to her parents William and Donna Coleman Wilson. She graduated from Springdale High School, and she graduated from the University of Arkansas- Fayetteville with a BS in Education. She taught Elementary Education in Springdale, Arkansas, Texarkana, Arkansas, and Hope, Arkansas with a total of 31 years in public education. Following her retirement from Hope Public School, she taught Language Arts at Garrett Memorial Baptist Church for 15 years; she loved her students and they loved her. She loved to play bunco, along with all kinds of card games; and she had a love for Southern Gospel Music; she played Hand Bells at both Calvery Baptist Church and The United Methodist Church. She was a member of Garrett Memorial Baptist Church where she worked in the nursery for many years. Mrs. Alexander was also mostly remembered by her nickname "Trouble".
She is preceded in death by her parents, and daughter. Andrea Elizabeth Alexander.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 48 years, Gerald Alexander; one brother, Gary Wilson; four grandchildren, Tre Alexander, Jeremiah and Aubriana Warner, Katie Beth Alexander, partner Gabriel Gaines, with three great grandchildren, Breonna, Ja'Cari, and Naomi Gaines.

Visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Garrett Memorial Baptist Church with Bro. Scott Neathery, Bro. Cliff Johnson, and Bro. Neal Ridling officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home.
