Mrs. Karen L. Britt Williams, 53, of Camden, Ark. (Formerly of Hope, Ark.) passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2008, in Hope. She was born in Hope,Ark. on December 7, 1954, to Wilson and Margaret Claudean Stewart Britt. She was a former ad manager of the HOPE STAR and the EL DORADO NEWS TIMES working in both sales and public relations. She was also a former employee of the former Tex-Ark Joist in Hope and the former Spears Carpet Mill in Hope. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Camden; member of the Steering Committee with the Daffodil Festival in Camden; member of the McCullom-Chidester House; and volunteered over the years, in both Camden and Hope, on various projects and committees. She was preceded in death by her father, Wilson Britt and by one niece, Stephanie Britt Skidmore. HER SURVIVORS INCLUDE: HER HUSBAND: (of almost 17 years) Mark O. Williams, Camden, Ark. ONE SON: Bryan L. Williams and Rhonda, Little Rock, Ark. ONE STEP-DAUGHTER: Jenna Tucker and Jeff, El Dorado, Ark. HER MOTHER: Claudean S. Britt, Hope, Ark. TWO SISTERS: Linda OSullivan and John Destrahan, LA. Lori Alberson and James, Hope, Ark. SIX NEPHEWS & NIECES: Jamey Alberson, Justin Alberson, Joel Alberson, all of Hope, AR. Ria OSullivan, Nicole OSullivan, Alexis OSullivan, all of Destrahan, LA. And One Great-Nephew (Drake Alberson) and One Great-Niece.
