Mrs. Karol Barber, age 80 of Bodcaw, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Barber was born February 23, 1935 in Munich, Germany. She was retired in home health care assistant and member of Friendship United Methodist Church McCaskill, Arkansas. Mrs. Barber was a loving and devoted wife. Mrs. Barber's favorite time was taking care of her animals, fishing and spending time with her husband. She is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include; her husband of 54 years William "Jappy" Barber of Bodcaw, two brother-in laws; Jerald Barber and wife Barbara of McCaskill, Arkansas and Jesse Barber and wife Marla of Wheatley, Arkansas, one sister-in-law; Louise Fowler of Hope, Arkansas. Numerous nieces, nephews family and friends. Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00pm Monday, August 17, 2015 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope. Funeral service is 10:00am, Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Friendship United Methodist Church in McCaskill, Arkansas, with Dr. Gene Ross officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery.
