Mrs. Kathleen Mitchell, age 72 of Prescott , Arkansas passed away

Tuesday November 22, 2016 . Kathleen was born on June 19, 1944 in Lockney , Texas to James Huey and Margaret Ellen Mooney Davidson. She is a member of the Emmet United Methodist Church in Emmet. Kathleen is a retired school teacher working for the Emmet Public School District , where she taught English and graduated from Emmet Schools in 1962. She dearly loved all the children she taught at Emmet. She enjoyed reading and her flowers; Day Lilies and Roses. Kathleen was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Kathleen was very instrumental in the Emmet Library for her true love of reading. She is preceded in death by her parents, and a brother; Paul Huey Davidson.

Her survivors include; her husband, of 50 years, Don Mitchell of Emmet, a son, Don Paul Mitchell of Emmet, a daughter; Rachel Natasha Mitchell of Little Rock, Arkansas, a brother; John William Davidson of Hope and two grandchildren; Laikyn Grace Mitchell and Victoria Faith Mitchell.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Emmet United Methodist Church .

Funeral service will be 2:00pm , Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Emmet United Methodist Church in Emmet with Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland officiating.  Burial will be in Snell Cemetery in Emmet.
