Obituary

Mr. Kenneth Anderson, age 80, of El Dorado, Arkansas, formerly of Spring Hill, Arkansas, passed away, Thursday, May 23 in El Dorado. Mr. Anderson was born on November 19, 1932, in Spring Hill, Arkansas, to George and Bethel Stevenson Anderson. He was retired from Texas Eastern Pipeline after 31 years as a Station Operator and attended Wyatt Baptist Church in El Dorado. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Korea during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Anderson loved to fish and hunt, but most of all he loved to spend time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Corinne Corbridge. Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary Ann Wright, a son Kenneth Ray Anderson, of Belen, New Mexico, two daughters, Debbie Garrett Ray and husband Tommy of El Dorado, Tracy Anderson Michael and husband Keith of El Dorado, two brothers, Lloyd Anderson of Hope, Dr. Jim Anderson of Wetumpka, Alabama, a sister, Darlene Hollis of Russellville, Arkansas, four grandchildren, Cody Ray, Chase Ray, Colt Michael, Lake Michael, two great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Bradley Ray, numerous other family members and a host of friends. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 pm, Sunday, May 26, at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope. Funeral service for Mr. Anderson will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, May 26, at the Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel, Bro. Donny Hymer officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Cemetery in Spring Hill.
