Mr. Lacy Rowland Hill, 65 of Emmet, Arkansas, loving son, father, husband and grandfather went to be with the Lord Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Willis Knighton North in Shreveport, Louisiana after a courageous battle with cancer, with his wife, by his side. Lacy retired from the Army National Guard after 20 years and from Firestone of Prescott, Arkansas after 38 years. Lacy enjoyed hunting, fishing and telling stories with his family and friends. Lacy was a member of Providence Memorial Baptist Church in Perrytown, Arkansas. Lacy was preceded in death by his father, James Rowland Hill, his brother, Leslie Roy Hill and son, Jimmy Arthur Goodson. Lacy is survived by his wife of 18 years Patricia Hill of Emmet, who stood by his side until his passing, his mother, Georgia Alene Hill, two daughters; Lacie Bramlett of Texarkana, Texas and Regina Mashlan of Florida, three sons; Chris Goodson, wife, Linda of Delight, Arkansas, Shawn Goodson and wife, Brandi of Hope, Arkansas and Buster Hill of California, 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren Lacy was an inspiration to all who knew him, he was a giver, always offering a helping hand and one of the hardest working men you would ever meet, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
